ू है।/Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR (SDSC SHAR) is a lead Centre of Indian Space
Research Organisation (ISRO) situated at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR has
facilities of Solid Propellant Production, a Rocket Motor Static Test Facility and Launch Complexes for launching
variety of rockets, rocket tracking through sophisticated radar and optical tracking systems and real time data
acquisition and processing facilities and other support services including logistics.

SDSC SHAR is responsible to provide seamless weather forecasts and observations for Space launch and solid
propellant production operations over SHAR region. Facility is providing high quality upper air observations (up to
50km) for Day of Launch Wind Biasing (DOL-WB) near real time for GSLV, PSLV and other experimental missions.

providing Medium Range Forecasts of Tropical Cyclone genesis and SW & NE monsoon activity with high accuracy

जाएगा।/The positions of Temporary Research Associates are purely temporary and selected candidates shall be
engaged initially for a period of three years, extendable upto the validity of the project. In any case, the
maximum period of engagement shall not exceed five years.

House Rent Allowance as applicable(if they are not provided with hostel accommodation). In addition, the
Research Associates are eligible for medical benefits for self and Leave entitlement as per the rules of SDSC
SHAR. The candidates selected will not be entitled to any benefits or concessions admissible to regular
employees. The above provisions are liable to change/revise from time to time as per Government policy.

should be in First class with a minimum of 60% marks (aggregate of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of
6.5 on a 10 Point scale.

65% औसत अंक (सभी सेमे8टरD के औसत अंक) या 10 पॉइंट 8केल पर 6.84 के सीजीपीए के साथ *थम ेणी म बीई/बीटे क/एमएससी
या समक pड:ी कO पव ू L अहLता होनी चाहए।/Pre-qualification of BE/B.Tech/MSc or equivalent degree should also be in
First Class with an aggregate of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA of 6.84 on a 10 Point scale.

instead of marks, the conversion of Grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure
certified by the University from where they have obtained the Degree. The onus of proving the conversion
from Grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would rest with the candidate. Candidates must indicate equivalent
percentage in relevant column of online application form as per the norms adopted by the University.

`100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for each application. Fee may be paid online through Debit
Card/Internet Banking. If the candidate could not make the payment of application fee due to transaction
failure or otherwise within the due date/time, he/she can pay the fee upto the next day of closure of on-
line application registration (i.e., before 1700 Hrs on 30.11.2019) by clicking ‘Make payment’ option
available in the on-line recruitment portal. No other mode of payment will be acceptable and the fee will
not be refundable under any circumstances. (Candidates making online payment may kindly note that
SDSC SHAR shall not be responsible for pending transactions or transaction failures).

be sent to registered e-mail of the candidates. They can also download the call letters from our
website https://www.shar.gov.in (or) https://apps.shar.gov.in by clearly mentioning their
Registration Number and Date of birth.

चयन होगा।/The Qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not
automatically make the candidate eligible to be called for interview. There will be an initial screening
based on the academic performance and other parameters given in the online application and only those
who are screened-in will be called for interview. Selection will be made based on performance in the
interview.

posting is SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota, but the selected candidates are liable to be posted in any of the
Centres/Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation/Department of Space situated in India as and
when required.

confer any claim or right for regular employment in SDSC SHAR or any other Centre/Unit of
Indian Space Research Organization/Department of Space.

16. केवल भारतीय नागरक हA आवेदन कर सकते है।

Only Indian Nationals need to apply.

may visit our website at https://www.shar.gov.in (or) https://apps.shar.gov.in to register their
applications on-line between 09.11.2019 (1000 hours) and 29.11.2019 (1700 hours). Before registering,
the candidates are advised to go through the instructions displayed on the website.

has to be invariably followed up with a copy of “No Objection Certificate’’ from the employer
