The table indicates the expenditure proportion of five European countries.

Overall,
the largest proportion of consumer spending in each country went on food and drinks. On
the other hand, the clothing category had the lowest percentages in the table.
Out of the five countries, the number of consumers spending on food and drinks
was noticeably higher in Spain, at 61%, and Turkey, at nearly 56%. The proportion off
spending on entertainment and clothing were also higher in Spain, at 31% and 12%
respectively. The percentages of consumers spending on Entertainment, however, were
significantly higher in Poland at 33% and France at 31% than in any of the other
countries.
It can be seen that France had the lowest percentages of national consumer
expenditure for clothing at 7% and entertainment at 13%. Poland had slightly higher
figures for these categories, but the lowest figure for food and drinks, at only 32%. UK
had the lowest proportion of consumer on spending for housing with just only 17%.
