Taguig Pateros District Hospital’s Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation Unit offers extensive

inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to all populations diagnosed with Neurological
conditions, Orthopaedic, and musculoskeletal conditions, these includes but not limited to the
ff conditions:

 Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke)


 Peripheral Nerve Injuries (Sciatica, Radiculopathy)
 Acute/chronic Cervical or Lumbar pain
 Fracture
 Spinal cord injuries
 Muscle strains and sprains
 Arthritis and Osteoporosis
 Pre and Post-operative Care
 Scoliosis

Patients are evaluated by our board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician
who will prescribe task-specific programs that are focused on patient’s needs to aid in recovery
from such injuries and disabilities. Our rehab protocols have been carefully developed by our
Physical therapy team along with the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician.

We offer individualized treatment with hands-on therapy designed to restore utmost function,
permitting patients to regain independence in Mobility and promote a safe return-to-
community and recreational activities. Our Physical Therapists are well-equipped with
knowledge and patient handling experience to provide systematic program including Manual
Physical Therapy such as Soft Tissue Mobilization, Therapeutic Exercises like stretching and
strengthening additionally, it also involves detailed therapeutic techniques utilizing equipment
in combination with Soft tissue and joint mobilization, Modalities, stretching and progressive
resistive exercise program.
