Rada: wage increase debate will be

on inflation rate and the family

basket will be only reference

The deputy minister of Coordination with Social Movements,

Alfredo Rada, said Wednesday that the negotiation with the
Central Bolivian Workers' Union (COB) on the salary increase will
be based on the rate of inflation, in which the family basket will
be only a reference.
"The elements on which the wage increase is going to be
considered will be on the inflation rate and the growth rate of the
economy of our country, so, well, the family basket is only a
reference, but it will be the dialogue Which leads to the
conclusions, "he told reporters.
The Economy Ministry and the COB said Tuesday night an interim
quarter until Thursday in the negotiation on the percentage of the
salary increase for this year.
