TYPES OF ORGANIZATIONS

There are organizations according to their purposes.


For profit: They have as one of their main purposes to generate a certain
profit.
Nonprofit: They are characterized by having as a purpose to fulfill a
certain role in society without claiming a profit or profit for it.
Organizations According to their Formality: According to whether or not
they have official and defined structures and systems for decision making,
communication and control.
Formal Organizations: This type of organizations is characterized by
having official and defined structures and systems.
Informal Organizations: These types of organizations consist of unofficial
means that influence communication, decision making and control
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES

Functional:
The organization by functions brings together, in one department, all
those who are engaged in an activity or several related, which are called
functions.
Linear structure:
In this case the line of authority is clearer, since it is a senior manager
(manager or owner) who controls and supervises several organizational
levels.

Divisional structure:
Divide the company into functional departments, better called divisions
or units, with a single chain of command.
