Assignment
The paper must be typed on a computer and comply with the following
requirements:
Font: ARIAL, font size 12 and a line spacing of 1.5.
Word count: The length of the home assignment should not exceed 2000 words
(excluding cover page and annexes).

If the students exceed the word count, the essay will not be sent to grading.

Footnotes should be included in the word count of the main text. Not included in
this count: the front page (with name and title etc), summary, table of contents and
references (bibliography). Please remember to include footnotes in word count!

Structure

Technically the paper should be as good as possible: well organized in titles

and subtitles, footnotes and references. The paper should follow the following
recommended structure for each question:

1. Table of contents
2. Introduction.
The introduction is to be placed in the beginning of the paper and should
contain the following:
- Interpretation of essay question and formulation of research question, reasons
you would give for formulating this/these question/s including a short explanation of the
relevant background or context;
- Clarification of terms (or definitions) if necessary;
- Presentation of the structure of the text (an overview of the chapters).
 In introduction you will need to describe what hotel animation is and what your
assignment will be about.

3. Main text (body)

This is the section where you develop the arguments.

In the main body choose any country or any hotel and describe how the
animation department works there. (Opportunities, any improvements that need to be
made in the animation department; if you would be the animation team leader what
would you do for the animation team etc.)

In conclusion you will need to write your own opinion about hotel animation: do
we need it? How else can we entertain tourists? What should we consider when
entertaining tourists?

Annex: List of references (bibliography) or use of legal style formatting with

references in the footnotes. You should make references according Harvard
Referencing System.

The use of footnotes and references in the bibliography should be consistent.

Please remember to indicate:

1. Your candidate number and name on the front page of your document;
2. Course code (CANM-100);
3. Title of the home assignment
4. Remember page numbering;

Papers handed in after the deadline will not be considered.
