Job Advertisement – Operations and Administrative Coordinator

Background
Founded on the 25th of September 2018, HSC Maldives Pvt Ltd began its journey with the intent of
providing quality products to the community and the tourism industry - at affordable prices. In a short
span of time, our products have established a strong foothold in a diverse range of products that are
carefully sourced from Europe and the Balkan region by our partner company, HS Commerce, based in
the Europe.

From the beginning, our main focus has been a strong aspiration to provide products that will be valued
and is accessible to the ordinary person. Our dedicated team, working closely with our clients, strives
to keep quality and commitment as an underlying business focus. Representing also our partner
companies in the Europe, we supply retail and wholesale products, both online as well as through our
stores.

Job Purpose
To contribute to and work as a team player in ensuring that all operations and administrative aspects
related to the company are conducted accordingly and in a timely manner, including the overall
operations of the business, administrative duties and coordinate with the management in improving
the company’s procedures and policies, and ensure that the company runs smoothly. The Operations
and Administrative Coordinator will work directly under the direct supervision of the Director of Product
Management.

Job Description – Operations and Administrative Coordinator


As an Operations and Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for all operations and
administrative aspects of the company, working closely with the Director of Product Management in
procurement, contract management, receiving of all products imported by HSC Maldives Pvt. Ltd and
the administration of an operational process that enables the smooth running of the daily operation of
the business. We are seeking an energetic and motivated member to join our growing team, with a
passion for personal development through commitment and learning. The ideal candidate will have a
deep understanding of the administrative and operational side to product management and the retail
and wholesale business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.


• Assist the company in the management of human resources and recruitment.
• Ensure all legal and regulatory documentation are done accordingly.
• Work with the management in determining values and mission and plan for short and long-
term goals.
• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.

• Supporting employees by facilitating interdepartmental communications and interactions
between internal and external parties.
• Ensuring that the office is well-maintained, organized and secure.
• To develop or source innovative and cost-effective training initiatives which meet hotel and
individual needs and support employees to achieve both their work and personal goals
• Ensuring a well maintained and smooth operation of the company’s outlet(s), warehouses and
office(s).

Required Qualification, Skills and Experience


• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, or any relevant field.
• Minimum of three year of experience in a similar field, in a middle management level.
• Experience in management, operations and leadership.
• Ability to build consensus and relationship among employees.
• Ability to work well with other employees and maintain a professional and respectful work
environment.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with several tasks and various deadlines.
• Ability to actively generate creative, practical approaches and solutions to overcome
challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent writing, presentation/public speaking skills in English & Dhivehi.
