Public Relations Student Society of America: Move the Line

Student Run Campaign to Increase Organ Donation

Selinsgrove, Pa – 04/20/19 – Susquehanna University’s Public Relations Student Society of

America will be hosting an event called “Move the Line” to raise awareness of organ donation
on Thursday, April 25. The event will take place on Thursday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“This is the first year we’re hosting the event,” PRSSA member Kelsey McGuggart said. “This is
event is a great way for us to break some stereotypes about being an organ donor.”

The event is part of a competition that PRSSA chapters across Pennsylvania are competing in.
Each chapter has the goal of getting the most online interactions as well as getting the most
people to sign up and become organ donors. The winning chapter of the competition will be
awarded $1000.

Every ten minutes, another person is added to the waiting list for an organ. Help today by
registering to be and organ donor at organdonor.gov.
