1. What are the benefits or advantages of having a group?

2. Why does Group Size matter when it comes to forming a Group?

3. How do you show appreciation to the contributions of each member in a group?

Having a group would essentially help a person in different situations like the need for emotional support,
assistance, and companionship. Activities in groups could bring a person out of its shell and learn to
interact more with others improving productivity and communication. Moreover, the members of a group
could gain values like cooperation, teamwork, leadership, and trust. Whether the activity is schoolwork
or organization tasks, one can find the importance of connections, camaraderie, and experience. Also,
task roles keep the group together because a member should not do all the task by himself/herself instead
every member are given a part to do to finish the group activity easily and each one can learn from the
other.

Group size matters when it comes to forming a group because people have different group size
preferences in which they work more efficiently. Some work well in small groups, while others work well
in big groups. In forming groups, the following are taken into consideration: (a) Will the group members
participate accordingly when the group has 2-3 or, 4 or more members? (b) Will it be faster to finish the
activity when the group is small or big? and (c) More people with more ideas and division of labor or fewer
people with fewer freeloader members and easy interaction?

Every member's contribution should be appreciated since they did their part as well. I can simply say
"thank you for the hard work", "good job", or "you did great" to acknowledge them. It is always good to
end the tasks with high-fives because it keeps them motivated to keep doing better in the next upcoming
tasks. Most of the time, I hug each of them to brighten them up after all the stress that has been brought
up just to finish the activities.
