WHEREAS, the members disqualified vide order issued by the Hon'ble Speaker, Karnataka Legislative Assembly had filed Writ Petition (C) No 992 of 2019 titled as Shrimanth Balasaheb Patil v. Hon'ble Speaker Karnataka Legislative Assembly And Ors. and eight other writ petitions being W.P.(C) No. 97/2019, W.P.(C) No. 1000/2019, W.P.(C) No. 2998/2019, W.P.(C) No. 1005/2019, W.P.(C) No. 1003/2019, W.P.(C) No. 1001/2019, W.P.(C) No. 1007/2019 and W.P.(C) No. 1006/2019 before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Hon’ble Supreme Court on 26" September, 2019, observed as under: “arguments heard, which remained inconclusive. For further arguments, list the matters on Tuesday, the 22" October, 2019 for final disposal. In the meantime, parties are directed to complete the pleadings latest by 15" a October, 2019.” 3. _ In view of the foregoi 1g, the Commission discussed and deliberated upon the matter and it has directed under Sections 153 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 read with Section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, to amend and extend the notifications, mentioned in para 1 above, in the following manner: (2) _ the 11 November, 2019 (Monday), as the restarting date of making nominations (b) the 18 November, 2019 (Monday), as the last date for making nominations; (c) __ the 19 November, 2019 (Tuesday), as the date for the scrutiny of nominations; (4) the 21 November, 2019 (Thursday), as the last date for withdrawal of nominations;(e) the 05 December, 2019 (Thursday), as the date on which polls shall, if necessary, be taken; (f) the 11 December, 2019 (Wednesday), as the date before which the elections shall be completed; and Nominations filed between 23 September, 2019 (Monday) and 27 September, 2019 (Friday) before the respective Returning Officers, as per the schedule mentioned in the above mentioned Notifications in para 1, shall also be taken up for scrutiny on 19 November, 2019 (Tuesday) along with other Nominations received between 11 November, 2019 (Monday) and 18 November, 2019 (Monday) in pursuance to this Notification. The Election Commission fixes the hours from 7.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M as the hours during which the poll shall, if necessary, be taken on the date specified above for the elections. By order, A. (B.C.
