dignitaries, members of management, our beloved principal, teaching faculty, dear
parents and my fellow Vivaites.
I, Yash Prabhu, and I, Shalmali Takle, are delighted to present you the 4th
convocation ceremony of VSOA.
The energy in this auditorium is reflecting throughout, there are mixed emotions
everywhere as the students who are graduating are closing one chapter of their life and
beginning another.
Shalmali Takle:
Before we begin with the ceremony, I would request everyone to kindly standup for the
national anthem.
National Anthem
I would request everyone to kindly take your seats so we can move further with the
most awaited moment of your life – The Graduation Ceremony of batch 2013-18.
Your journey in these five years was similar to this phrase. It was not a one-way flight,
it took everyone multiple tries, several ups and downs and intense hard-work to reach
where they are today. As Chakor sir always says,
I’m sure the true meaning of this line is realized by the batch sitting here today after
coming to this point. There is another point which is always stressed upon in this
institution right from the first year, first day itself. Professionalism is valued and
imbibed at VSOA as it is a perfect blend of the traditional as well contemporary ways
and means required for the development of a student’s overall growth and development.
This ensures that every year the society at large is benefitted with the well-equipped
professionals who can significantly contribute to the value creation process.
Yash Prabhu:
Rightly said by my co-host, professionalism is very important in our field and I’m sure
all the students present here will now agree to it.
So finally coming to the highlight of the ceremony, today is the day when you are going
to receive an appreciation for all the efforts, sleepless nights and not to forget the
painstaking amount of redos done by you guys in these academic years.
Today is the day when you will truly be the professionals that you were
where you people will be termed as educated professionals, your certification will be
your degree. So, enough of net practice, now its time to show your game.
On that note,

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better. “
Architects play a vital role in balancing the environment and as an architect it our
responsibility to give back to the nature what we take from it. To accomplish it,
VSOA had established an eco-justice concerns committee ‘EJCC’. Taking it a step
further, EJCC has been organizing tree plantation campaigns. This year VSOA
students planted around 100 saplings near our college campus.
Also, last year VSOA had arranged an annual day and a social week where in the
social week consisted of very various interesting workshops and lecture series.
It was a great success. We thrive for many such more successful events. We are
sure that your good wishes and support will help the college endeavor much
greater heights.
