the most dominant factor in the pursuit of
higher studies. This influence is followed
closely by parents, which also
play critical role in directing their children as

know that students and
parents preferred public urban type of

stakeholders, specifically

programmes because of the challenges that is present. The study is to find out how their decision for their career will affect
them on their academic programmes. To gather data the researcher used some questionnaire and gathered surveys, and used

 Career choice of students: basis for curricular offering of senior high schools in region XI

Most of us think that white collar jobs are the most on demand specially for fresh graduates who s looking
for a job right after they graduate. Blue collar jobs are in the least or not so popular courses because its kinda hard to look for a
job if your course is under blue collar jobs like Physical Therapy, theology, math or geodetic engineering and entrepreneurship.
And having a course like: Nursing or BEED, Communications, Civil Engineering and Accountancy , are the most popular or in
demand courses.
