This document describes an in vitro diagnostic device that can perform ion-selective electrode (ISE) testing on various body fluids including serum, plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, and whole blood to measure sodium, potassium, chloride, lithium, and hemoglobin A1c levels. The device supports one-point, two-point, and rate testing methods using direct potentiometry and has optional onboard sample lysis capabilities.
