VISION
Become a School of Architecture that produces architectural graduates who are superior and ethical
in designing buildings that care about the environment and local wisdom.

MISSION
 Organizing education that is able to produce architectural graduates with integrity who are able
to face global challenges professionally.
 Organizing architectural education that develops a wise attitude and care for the environment
and social issues.
 Organizing architecture education that is able to develop and apply science , technology, arts and
culture to improve the welfare of humanity.
 Organizing education that produce bachelor of architecture that is capable of designing buildings

CURRICULUM
The Curriculum of Undergraduate Program in Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, University of
Atma Jaya Yogyakarta is arranged based on the Indonesian National Qualification Framework
(Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia – KKNI) which is a competency qualification framework that
can pair up, equalize, and integrate education and work training fields as well as work experience in
the context of providing work competence recognition in accordance with the work structure in
various sectors.

can be completed within 8 semesters with a study load of 144 semester credit units. This degree
must be completed in no more than 14 semesters since enrolled as a student in semester 1.

Graduates from the Undergraduate Program in Architecture of Faculty of Engineering University of


Atma Jaya Yogyakarta will get a degree: S.Ars (Sarjana Arsitektur)*) - Bachelor of Architecture

Lecture System

Lectures in Architecture Undergraduate Program are generally consist of 5 parts / groups:


1. Studio
2. theory
3. Field Study
4. Practical work
5. Final Project

Student affairs
HIMA TRICAKA

The Architecture Student Association (Himpunan Mahasiswa Arsitektur - HIMA) is a place for
channeling the interests and talents of students at the Architecture Study Program level, both in the
academic and non-academic fields. In addition students can also participate in various activities
organized by student activity units at the university level.

SCHOLARSHIP
Provided to outstanding students by giving priority to financially disadvantaged students.

Scholarships come from:


Slamet Rijadi Foundation Yogyakarta (organizer of University of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta)
Supersemar Foundation
BPPA (Beasiswa Peningkatan Prestasi Akademik) - scholarship to increase academic achievement
BPM (Bantuan Panduan Mahasiswa) - Student Guide Assistance, from the Ministry of National
Education, PT. Djarum, the Toyota and Astra foundations, and other incidental sources from partner
companies.

WORK PROSPECT
Some jobs that can be occupied by a graduate from Architecture undergraduate program:
 Professional and experts, become an architect and also can be a person who provides consulting
services in implementing their knowledge
 Entrepreneur / entrepreneurial, become a person with independent, resilient, tough, hard-
working character
 Bureaucrats - officials and government officials - who deal with official, administrative and
hierarchical affairs.
 Educator, which of course have to have nobler characteristics in order to be able to shape their
students into better future generations
 Research groups, as groups that pursue and develop their knowledge
