The EotW line of games is extremely broad brush; its not terrible for what it is, but I couldn't really recommend it for general usage. Among other things characters are pretty narrow in

AFMBE was great for it's time. I'm still proud of the books I wrote for it. But if I were to run a zombie game today, I'd use something different. Revolution d100 and OtherWorlds are my
current obsessions, so probably one of those, depending on the style of game I wanted. Most likely leaning a little closer to Rd100 just because it can be a bit more tactical when the
shooty bits start.

It's a great game. There's a free SRD for it at the link above, so no reason not to give it a look.
