We’ll protect our livelihood

And save Clara from the beast

Keep her safe for the feast.

We will not bend our knee

To a mouse full of fleas

Who’s just crazy for some cheese,

And forgets he is a sleaze.

I agree, we are to stay

Face the peril, even pray

That he fails to show up,

Spare us of his blowup.

If he’s smart, he’ll stay away,

Otherwise we’ll make him pay.

He’s a rodent of no worth

Who resides under the earth.

Other rodents who will yelp

At the sight of cheese and joy

Our Christmas will destroy.
