In reference to this contract, we have additional requirement of approximately 210 tank trucks of capacity 18 MT approx. on Adhoc basis till 31.10.2017. These tank trucks are required for plying from various loading bases in sectors other than Special Sectors. The offered trucks of the tenderers which qualify as per tender terms and who accept the above referred L1 rates will be inducted as per the Clause no. 4 (iii) of General Terms & Conditions of the tender No. LPG/LOGS/TI/NR/ 2014/A which specifies the criteria for “Allocation of Tank Trucks”. Also while allocation of tank trucks, reservation for SC/ST & MSE’s shall be kept as per Clause no. 5 and 8 of the subject tender. In case no. of offered qualified TTs under SC/ST/MSE category is less than the no. of TTs reserved under SC/ST/MSE categories, the balance no. of TTs will be inducted from the General Category. 7. Additional applicable Security Deposit / Bank guarantee will have to be deposited by the those successful transporters whose trucks will be inducted after acceptance of their offer and Transport Agreement for the adhoc period also will have to be signed by them with the Corporation. 8. The tank trucks accepted for induction will have to be placed for physical verification, applicable additional Security Deposit/ Bank guarantee will have to be deposited and agreement for the adhoc period will have to be signed within a period of 7 days of issuance of LOI. The discretion to extend this period solely vests with the Corporation and decision of HPCL in this regard will be final and binding. 9. This letter or submission of offer should not be construed as any commitment on part of the Corporation to accept your offer. 10. The Corporation reserves the right to extend the operation of these additional trucks offered which are qualified and inducted, as and when deemed fit. 11.
