positions advertised by the board, three teams have been constituted for the
purpose. At section level, Shri. Ashish Verma has been entrusted the duties for
screening of applications for the broad discipline of the Animal Sciences group. It
has been observed that Shri. Ashish Verma has not been attending to his duties
sincerely and in a time bound manner as required to complete the job in a time
bound manner. Today morning, the screening of applications of two senior RMP
positions was to commence under the chairmanship of Member (Animal Science
Group). Sh. Ashish Verma did neither attended the briefing meeting chaired by
Chairman, nor made any arrangements for the facilitation of the meeting.
Chairman of screening committee viewed it seriously and only after the
intervention of Secretary, ASRB, the proceedings of the committee could be
started. Such unpleasant situation could have been avoided had sh. Ashish verma
attended to his duties as per the directions of the undersigned and Secretary, ASRB
who had briefed the all concerned in the meeting. It was his duty to supervise and
ensure the smooth functioning of the screening committee. In spite of directions
he did not attend his duties resulting in chaos before the meeting of the screening
committee. The Chairman of the screening committee was very upset and annoyed
at the mismanagement at the level of section. This could have been avoided has
section officer Mr. Ashish Verma performed his duties sincerely and with devotion.
Since the beginning of this process of, he has been creating indiscipline resulting in
delay and chaos in smooth conduct of the screening. Such an act on the part of Mr.
Ashish amounts to misconduct and indiscipline. It is proposed that he may be issued
an advisory to be careful in future failing which necessary actions will be taken as
per rules.
