Poster Guidelines

Joint Convention Yogyakarta 2019


Key Highlights for Poster Presenter
In the view of the organizers, the poster presenter should cover the following
issues:

• Register for the convention.


• Transport your material to and from the convention center.
• Assemble your display.
• Focusing your poster on technical content.
• Advertising and sales promotions in any form (e.g., price lists, etc. is strictly
prohibited).
• A comprehensive and robust presentation of the posters.
• Relevance to theme and sub-theme of JCY 2019.
• Brief outlines of the persons.
• Securing the safety of your material before, during and after the poster
sessions.

Poster Format
(2D View)
• The posters will be printed on A0 size (84.1 x
1m 1m 118.9 cm) and embed within 2-sides vertically,
rectangular panel with each side comprises of
100 x 250 cm in wide and length, respectively.
• The clear space from the content to the edges of
the poster template should be at least 3 cm.
• The posters embed to the panel comprises from
2 (two) distinct parts; the first panel containing
the Introduction and Methods material. The
second panel contents include Results,

Conclusions, References, and Acknowledgement.


Both panels and all of the poster contents stated
above must be included on the poster display.
Any content shortfall would effect the
scoring criteria.
• Additional photo of the author and Biography at
the bottom of the poster should contain Author’s
Title Title
Authors Authors name, affiliation, academic background,
achievements, and interest (max. 100 words).

• The best format for the template of the poster is
vertical. It is within your responsibility to print

them and take them to Yogyakarta.

1st Panel
• Introduction:
• Covers the background of the research.
• Methods:
• Covers the workflow which the research took place.

2nd Panel
• Results:
• Covers the end-product of research paper.
• Conclusions:
• Covers the wrap-up of final summary of the paper.
• References:
• Attached any citation used in the paper.
• Acknowledgements:
• Acknowledgement to the institution of the author is
allowed. However, any commercial marketing is
strictly prohibited.
Poster Presentation Presenting Format

• Poster presenter must be presented during


their designated poster time according to
the following time:
• Morning: 9.00 – 11.00
• Afternoon: 14.00 – 16.00
• Poster will be judged during the designated
time.
• The judging process consists the minimum
of 15 minutes poster presentation and 10
minutes of question and answer session.
• Besides the designated presenting time,
poster presenters are free to let the
participants know their own availability in
the poster panel.
