Hey,

You actually need to go into the setup of HOCUS POCUS to change to the original Soundblaster sounds &
music.

To do that, you must:

1. Manually run the DOSBox executable (not the game itself).

2. Mount your drive where the games are stored.

Z:\>mount C (directory of where Hocus Pocus is stored)

Z:\>mount C E:\Files\Emulators\DOSBox\Games\
Drive C is mounted as local directory E:\Files\Emulators\DOSBox\Games

3. Type C:

Z:\>C:

4. Type CD HOCUS to go into the HOCUS directory in the DOSBox prompt window (if you did not mount the
HOCUS directory itself you will need to do this).

C:\>CD HOCUS

5. Once you are in the Hocus Pocus directory, type SETUP

C:\HOCUS>SETUP

6. Once you are in the Hocus Pocus setup:

A. Select Music Card: AdLib
B. Select Sound FX Card: Sound Blaster. With voices set to Eight, and Mixing Quality as 16 bits.

7. Select Save Settings & Exit.

8. You can now run the game normally with the original sounds in tact.

The main thing you should do in dosbox.conf, is to make sure that all of the "rate" commands/lines are set
to 49716 to get the most accurate & highest quality audio.
