Recommendations
 An effective screening program should use an acceptable tests
(dipstick test) that can accurately and reliably detect relatively
asymptomatic disease at an early stage, with low risk and less cost.
 Mass screening of all children in Egypt.
 Long term follow up is recommended to children with urinary
abnormalities as it can be an important sign of underlying disease.
 Further studies to measure the cost-effectiveness of applying the
dipstick test as a screening tool for children.
