Research Project Proposal: Eco-friendly and Low Cost Housing (tentative)

In a third-world country such as the Philippines, living in a substandard house may be the reality of the
majority of the population due to poor economic status. Now, there are ways to efficiently build homes
that are sustainable and need not to be expensive. The proposed eco-friendly housing promotes better
living conditions, overall improvement of lifestyle, and positive impact to the environment. An eco-
friendly home includes:

- Sustainable and affordable materials

- “Green” roof
- Small build
- Water recycling system
