Primary Sales Questions:-

● Rachit: How many Sub-dealers/retailers does the distributor supply to?


Salesperson: Approx 10 retailers.

● Rachit: Does the company give credit or cash discount to the distributor?
Salesperson: Yes, both.

● Rachit: Are there any targets and incentive schemes for the distributor?
Store Manager: Yes.

● Rachit: What type of support is provided by the company to distributors?


Store Manager: Product’s introduction and functioning.

● Rachit: Is the POP material distributed through the distributor?


Store Manager: Yes.

● Rachit: How often does the company’s representative visit him?


Salesperson: Once in a week.

● Rachit: How are the defective products handled?


Salesperson: Replaced or Repaired.

Secondary Sales:-

● Rachit: Are the prices to the sub-dealers fixed? Is there any price list for the sub-
dealers?
Store Manager: Yes.

● Rachit: What is the system of collecting orders from sub-dealers?


Store Manager: Call, mail and text.

● Rachit: How are the payments collected by the distributor? Cash/Cheque etc.?
Store Manager: Cheque, NEFT, RTGS.

● Rachit: Does the distributor give credit or cash discount to sub-dealers?


Store Manager: Both but Cash discounts mostly.

● Rachit: How often does the distributor’s sales man visit the sub-dealers?
Store Manager: Twice a month.

● Rachit: How much time does it take for them to receive supplies from distributor
after placing the order?
Store Manager: Within 2-3 days, depends upon the quantity.

Tertiary Sales:-

● Rachit: Does the company organise any demonstrations of their products at the
retail point?
Salesperson: Yes.

● Rachit: Do they have In-shop-promoters provided by the company to promote their


sales?
Salesperson: Yes.

● Rachit: Are there any special promotions organised by the company during the
festive season?
Store Manager: Yes.

● Rachit: Is any training given by the company to the sub dealer’s shop-floor staff/
Salesmen on selling (F.A.B)?
Store Manager: Yes.
