Conquest Series Manual Instruments
Maintenance Manual
Manual instruments are intended for arthroscopic surgical use
to cut, resect and grab meniscus and tissue.
Warning
1. Federal Law (USA) restricts these devices to use by, or on
the order of, a physician.
2. Avoid contacting instruments with metal objects, causing
the instruments to break and leave pieces in the wound,
which may be difficult to remove.
3. Bending or prying with the instruments may cause the
instrument to break and leave pieces in the wound, which
may be difficult to remove.
Cleaning
1. The Stryker Conquest Series Manual Instruments are
supplied non-sterile and must be cleaned and sterilized
prior to initial uses.
2. Lay units in a clean pan. Prepare an enzymatic detergent
solution as recommended by the manufacture. Add a
sufficient amount of the prepared solution to the pan to
completely cover the instruments.
3. Let the instruments soak for the recommended amount of
time. This will reduce blood, protein and mucus from the
instruments.
4. After soaking, remove the instruments and rinse them
thoroughly under running water.

6. Pay extra attention to the exposed underside of the shafts
and tips when cleaning with the brush.

Inspection
• Inspect instruments on a continual basis. If a problem is
observed or suspected, it should be immediately set aside
for evaluation and/or repairs.
• Inspect all components for cleanliness. Disassembly for
cleaning is recommended.
Warranty
Stryker Endoscopy warrants against defects in both materials
and workmanship to the registered owner at the time of
purchase. All components are covered by the warranty for a
period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty
extends to all purchasers and is limited to the repair or
replacement of the product without charge when returned to:

This warranty does not extend to any unit which has been
subject to misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation or
