The pharmacist prepare the medicine.

Ph : Like the doctor said, you have a gerd which is the gastric acid reflux to the esophagus. This
is the reason why you vomitted, feel the burning pain in your chest, and difficult to swallow. You
get Omeprazole as your medicine. This medicine can inhibit proton pump which plays a role in
gastric acid secretion, so the gerd can be relieved. This Omeprazole in 20mg dose. You should
take this medicine one capsule daily for four weeks. After that, you can come back to your
doctor to do a check up. You should stop using your ulcer medicine and Ibuprofen because the
ulcer medicine is not effective to relieve your condition and Ibuprofen will make your condition
worse. You should avoid eating foods that are too spicy and too sour. Get enough rest can help
you to reduce the gastric acid too. And eat no less than four hours before your bedtime. Do you
have any questions?

Px : Can I recover from the disease?

Ph : Yes, you can with the lifestyle modifications as I said and consume the medicine obediently.
Any other questions?

Px : No, there is not.

Ph : Okay, you can get the medicine after pay it at the cashier.

Px : Thank you.

Ph : Thank you for coming and get well soon, Miss.
