To Whom It May Concern,

I highly recommend Gabriela Renee Chavez to any position she is applying for in your
institution. I was Gabriela’s clinical instructor in the third semester of the BS Nursing program
at the University of Arizona College of Nursing. During this semester, she provided care for
patients in the Intensive Care Units and other high acuity units at St. Joseph’s Hospital. I have
known her since January 2019 and have found her to be an excellent student.

As a student, I found Gabriela to be an independent learner and constantly seeks for clinical
experiences that challenge her to grow in the delivery of integrated nursing care. Gabriela has
good critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities with complex patient problems. Her
strengths include the ability to critically analyze clinical problems, excellent written and verbal
communication skills, is always organized, reliable, and computer literate. In addition, she
approaches her nursing care with a genuine compassion for patients and their families.

Gabriela Renee Chavez would be a tremendous asset to your company and I recommend her to
you without reservation. If you have any further questions with regard to her background or
qualifications, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Philip P. Moya ,BSN, MSN/Ed, RN, CCRN
