Magnolia Ice cream was first established when San Miguel bought its original Ice cream

parlor located in San Miguel, Manila. They then moved their operations to Calle
Echague or now known as C. Palanca Sr., Street in Quiapo, Manila.

Magnolia Ice Cream developed their Ice Cream plant in 1952, they begin to produce
and started offering popsicles to Filipinos. In 1954, they instigated a concept which is
“Flavor of the Month” and will let everyone know that this one specific ice cream flavor
topped the list of the best ice cream flavor of the month based on people’s ratings, taste
of the product and its quality. It helped establish the brand as the champion for new and
exciting flavors and concoctions every month.

In 1970, yet again Magnolia with its steady growth decided to transfer their production
facility in Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City, in a 5.2-hectare lot and is a home to the ice
cream and dairy production line and well-loved ice cream parlor.
