My name is Annabelle Joy Bear. Best known as “Mama Bear.” I’ve lived in the great
potato state of Idaho my whole life. All I’ve ever dreamed of is being a good wife and mama to
my cubs. I met my husband Andrew Jay Bear best known as “Papa Bear” during our college
years at THE Idaho State University. We fell in love and got married right after we graduated. It
was at this time Papa Bear decided he wanted to join the army. Thankfully, Fort Devens Army
Base is right up the road at the left crick, so we didn’t have to move far from home. It was here
during the next 5 years I got my wish of being a true Mama Bear and had our lovely bundle of
joys Bear and his sister Bearnetta. While sadly, as we were living our best bear lives Papa Bear
got deployed overseas. He’s been gone now for the last 9 months. It’s been affecting his family
greatly, Bear has this silly red hat his pops gave him before leaving that he carries around
everywhere and refuses to take it off. He is my pride and joy, and takes after his father, he is
always loving, always serving, and always kind.
