While searching for a place to start my career, this open position has caught my eye. I will soon
be graduating from Tawas Area High School with my high school diploma. I have an extensive
martial arts background that includes self defense, military grade training, weapons knowledge
and weapon disarming, and police training, started in 2017. I strongly believe that your offered
position will give me the chance to gain experience and further myself into the field I so desire.
The knowledge, training, and enthusiastic readiness I have at this moment will only add to your
well established organization.

Through all of my involvement in martial arts, such as receiving my black belt in the korean
martial art of HapKiDo and attending various seminars, I have become a candidate well worth
consideration. Besides my martial arts background, I also have experience in customer service
that I obtained throughout my time working at Burger King in which I’ve been participating in
since 2018. Over my past ventures, I have become aware of the hardships and struggles that
comes of being tasked in the armed forces, especially in today's society. Politics are as toxic as
ever before, indicating that our communities need people with great knowledge and ability to
protect them. Someone such as myself would be only an asset to this cause. An example of how I
can contribute to this would be my leadership skills; I’ve acquired these qualities through the
years of training from a highly qualified and dignified martial arts master, security forces trainer,
and former military personnel. Protecting and serving our community is what I plan to do with
exceptional attention if allowed to take up an available position.
