A contents is also included which lists subjects specific to the interpretations covered in the individual volume. These interpretations are not a part of the Addenda or the Code. ‘These interpretations are taken verbatim from the original letters, except for a few typographical and editorial corrections made for the purpose vf inspoved clavty. Ta some instances, a review of the interpretation revealed a need for corrections of a technical nature. In these cases, a revised interpretation is presented bearing the original Interpretation Number with the suffix R and the original file number ‘with an asterisk. Following these revised interpretations, new interpretations and revisions 10 them issued during the indicated dates are assigned Interpretation Numbers in chronological order. Interpretations applying to more than one Code Section appear with the interpretations for each affected Section "ASME procedures provide for reconsideration ofthese interpretations when or if additional information js available which the inquirer believes might affect the interpretation. Further, persons aggrieved by fan interpretation may appeal to the cognizant ASME committee or subcommittee. As steted in the Staicurent of Policy i the Code docoments, ASME docs not “approve,” “eerily.” “rata” or “endorse” fay item, construction, proprietary device, or activity ‘An interpretation applies either to the Edition and Addenda in effect on the date of issuance of the interpretation or the Edition and Addenda stated in the interpretation. Subsequent revisions to the Code may supersede the interpretation. For detailed instructions on preparation of technical inquiries to the ASME Boiler and Pressure ‘Vessel Committe, refer to Appendix I Subject and Numerical indexes Subject and numerical indexes have been prepared to assist the user in locating interpretations by subject matter or by location in the Code. A contents is also included which lists ‘subjects specific to the interpretations covered in the individual volume, These interpretations are not @ part of the Addenda or the Code. ‘These interpretations sare taken verbatim from the original letters, except for a few typographical ‘and editorial corrections made for the purpose of improved clarity. In some instances, a review of the ‘interpretation revealed a need for corrections of a technical nature. In these cases, a revised interpretation is presented bearing the original Interpretation Number with the suffix R and the original file number with an asterisk. Following these revised interpretations, new interpretations and revisions to them issued during the indicated dates are assigned Interpretation Numbers in chronological order. Interpretations applying to more than one Code Section appear with the interpretations for each affected Section. ‘ASME procedures provide for reconsideration of these interpretations when or if additional information is available which the inguirer believes might affect the interpretation. Further, persons aggrieved by ‘an interpretation may appeal to the cognizant ASME committee or subcommittee. As stated in the Statement of Policy in the Code documents, ASME does not “approve,” “certify,” “rate.” or “endorse” construction, proprietary device, or activity. ‘An interpretation applies either to the Edition and Addenda in effect on the date of issuance of the interpretation or the Edition and Addenda stated in the interpretation. Subsequent revisions to the Code ‘may supersede the interpretation. For detailed inctructions on preparation of technical inquiries to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Committee, refer to Appendix I. Subject and Numerical Indexes ‘Subject and numerical indexes have been prepared to assist the user in Jocating interpretations by subject matter or by location in the Code. They cover interpretations issued from Votame 12 up to and including the present volume, and will be updated with each volume. su SECTION | Sibi PG.11 and PC-10S, Pipe Bending by Orpanziton Not Aurel to Use a Code Symbol Stamp PGL.AR4, Mlsple Openings Whose Limits of Compensation Overan PGS83, Code Limis for Level Indicator Piping PGS, Induction of FeedwaterThrogh # Blowdows Connection POEL, Redundancy of Fendmatee Supply ‘ PG-99, Hydronic Text of « Boiler With Mechanically Assembled ‘Boiler tea Piping. un, Ute of Nameplate i ae of Sepang Preamble, Onan Fi Hester PW-19, Welded In Says, Area of Weld In Shear tst7 Loss 19516 19823 19522 195.26 18.16 Bie No BOIS 248 C95 244 BOIS!
