Analysis of Experience

The experience at VIP Marketing was unlike any other professional experience I have had before.
Interning at this company has been my first professional experience outside of being an entrepreneur.
This meant I would have to adjust to reporting to another person, not having the authority to make
executive decisions, and having someone other than myself who is delegating my tasks to me.

Ultimately my internship was an experience I am appreciative of because working in this fast paced new-
age company challenged the notions I had about the corporate work lifestyle.

This internship challenged me mentally and forced me to reevaluate how I prioritize my tasks and time
management.

Was your internship beneficial for your career goals? Explain in detail.

This internship was beneficial for my career goals because it strengthened skills that I need in my PR
toolkit. This internship also offered interoffice challenges that ignited a drive I had started to lose. It
benefited me in many ways, but especially so by helping me to evaluate what I want professionally and
inspiring me to develop a strategy that will guide me to my goals.

Would you recommend this internship to other students? Why or why not?

I would not necessarily recommend this internship to other students because it is mentally taxing and I
found it extremely challenging to maintain good work both in the work setting and my school setting.
