1. What is the system ( or Automated Information System) used in Republic Cement?

2. Can you briefly explain how the system work?

3. What advantages did it (your Automated Information System) provide to your company with

regards to your accounting and auditing processes given this type of business?

4. Was there a time that the company have encountered a problem or malfunctions in your

system? If yes, can you tell us how did it happen?

5. Is your system only accessible by certain departments (e.g. only Accounting Department can

access) or personnel?

6. Are you satisfied with your system or if ever given the chance, would you like to change it?

7. Was it at first complicated to learn or understand the process of your system?

8. So far, was there any present risks that you’re trying to mitigate with in your system?

9. How helpful is your system in Republic Cement?

10. Does the system works like a database?

11. When someone inputs information/data and saved but after days, wants to delete it due to

some mistakes for example, can it be done that way? Does it affect all the transactions

retrospectively?

12. What internal controls does your company maintain regarding your Automated Information

System?

13. What features of the AIS you think are the most useful to the company's operations and

processes?

14. Do you think in the future, you would still be using this system? Why? (based on recent

trends and updates on different systems, improvements through time)

15. Does Republic Cement use only the Automated Information System or does it also use a

Manual System or record transactions in the company manually?
