Foof poisioning is a disease caused due the microbes , bacteria, fungus , or the
toxins present in the food (contaminated food) also knon as food born illnes
microbes can produce toxin or can contaiminte the food during :
Processing
Handling
Cooking
Packing

Symptoms:

its symptoms include

Nausea
Vomiting
Watery or bloody diarrhea
Abdominal pain and cramps
Fever
excessive thirst, dry mouth,
little or no urination,
severe weakness,
dizziness,
lightheadedness

sympotoms can appear with few hours after taking the contaminated food or it may
appear after one day or a week

Causes:
food can be contaminated during
growing
harvesting
processing
storing
shipping
preparing
Food not cocked properly
not stored propoerly
used after its expiriy date
Hand was not washed properly before eating

Bacteria involed:
Campylobacter
Clostridium botulinum
Clostridium perfringens
Escherichia coli (E. coli)

Risk factors
older adults : as you get odler with age your immune system is not work properly
infant & children: babies have weaken immune system as compared to the adults
pregnant women: harmful for both mother and his baby

prevenations :
Proper handwash
utensils are washed properly
food should be coocked at safe temperature
defrost food saftey
have any doubt do not use food
treatment:
use pleanty of water
try to maintain electrolyte balance
do not use sugary deinks
use:
cereals
whole grains
breads
potatoes
bananas
vegetables
fresh apples
plain yogurt
banana

avoid :
avoid the usage of
alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods
