· Volunteering and coordinating events at the hospice facility. Spending time with many of the patients, giving
them company and performing routine wellness check-ups on each patient. Working with doctors, pastors,
and nurses to brainstorm ideas on how to improve each patient’s quality of care.

· Petitioning and raising awareness for our organization’s goal of passing a bill to ban the use of polystyrene
(Styrofoam) in CT. Working with other organization members to make spreadsheets and organize data for
meetings. Our bill passed through the CT Senate, but was lobbied in the CT House of Representatives.
