it was for her to listen to her mother. Sometimes love doesn’t get a happy ending, not everyone is
who you think they are. Rapunzel will realize not every story gets a happy ending, life isn’t a
fairytale. Rapunzel sneaks out of the tower, gets ill, and later discovers her mother and Flynn’s
true intentions.
One morning Rapunzel is woken up by a loud bang on her window. She quietly
approaches it scared to see what's on the other side. She peeks out and notices a tall, attractive,
dark haired man waving at her to come outside. Rapunzel knows her mother's rules, Never
EVER go outside the house. Her mother never cared to explain why, she just made the point very
clear. The tall man then yells out “Come outside I want to talk to you Rapunzel!” Rapunzel is
hesitant at first but decides to sneak out the window because she’s wanted to her whole life and
he might be the key to helping her escape. The man then introduced himself as Flynn Rider, he
told her that he wanted to show her something but needs her to follow him. Rapunzel looks and

Rapunzel is so excited she could barely contain herself. She has dreamed of this her
entire life. Being able to feel the grass between her toes, hear the bugs buzzing around her, and
the smell of roses in the air made her the happiest girl in the world. Flynn took her on an

adventure to explore the nature, he introduced her to creatures she had never seen before. All
along, on this adventure Flynn was treating her like a queen. Overtime Rapunzel fell in love with
him, she had never felt this way about anyone before. There was dancing, singing, music
surrounding them. At one moment, she turned around and there he was surprising her with a

Hours passed by, Rapunzel wakes up finding herself alone in a dark room. She begins to
feel scared. Not knowing where she is, all she could hear was whispering coming from the other
side of the walls. She cries "Someone help me! I am locked in this room!". Minutes pass by, she
feels goosebumps cross her body and begins to feel very ill. Soon she hears the door squeak as
someone walks into the room. She was feeling almost delusional and hears a voice saying what
she thought sounded like, "This is why you never should have left", she knew that the voice
sounded very familiar. She soon finds that her mother and Flynn had this all planned out, and
regretting trusting both of them. She was being treated terrible, all her mother wanted was for her
to be gone. She was being tortured for disobeying her mother. She tried to fight as hard as she
could through the abuse, but she was losing strength and energy. They left her in the room
without any food or water. She was left suffering all alone with no one to help her.
Rapunzel feels helpless, she feels her life fading away and she knows that she can’t keep
fighting. She finally hears the door creak open again and two figures walk through and come up
to her. She looks over to see Flynn standing behind her mother grinning. Her mother begins to
hum along to the song she sang her every night. Flynn starts to urge her mother on saying “Just

hurry up and do it, let’s get this over with!” Her mother then grabs out a pair of rusty scissors
and begins to start cutting away at her long blonde hair. Rapunzel begins to feel distress fall over
her, knowing how odd it was for her mother to cut her hair. Her mother’s most important rule
was for Rapunzel to never touch her hair besides when she brushed it. She begged her mother to
stop but she wouldn’t, She could feel herself losing consciousness. Finally her mother cut her
last piece of hair and simply said, “I tried to tell you Rapunzel, mother always knows best.”
