you change it to be more comprehensible to your ELLs?

b. You could change this to be more comprehensible by using pictures to
help the ELL student visualize it.
2. Are there any grammar structures that might impede your ELLs'
understanding of the question? If yes, what? How would you change this for
greater chance of understanding?
i. Student will understand the different tenses - past and present
tense
ii. Understanding the sentences structures with word types, such as
nouns, verbs, objects
b. You could show students the differences between past and present words.
Also using simpler words for students to understand.

so, what? How would you change this to help your ELLs?

b. You could help your ELL with this vocabulary word by showing a picture of
Mars so they can visualize what it looks like.

a. There are no visual supports to this test question.
b. We can help by providing visuals for both the questions and the test
language.
5. What other issues might your ELLs have with this test question, and how
might you address these issues?
a. ELL students may not be familiar with multiple choice test questions and
choosing one correct answer. This issue would be addressed by providing
examples of multiple choice questions before the test.
