TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED EXHAUST FAN

ABSTRACT

The aim of this project is to design a temperature controlled exhaust fan

which measures the temperature in the particular work place and decides whether the
exhaust fan is to be switched ON or OFF and with which speed it has to rotate and to
keep the user updated by sending alert’s to his mobile phone.
The principle behind the working of the project lies in the functioning of
Temperature Sensor. We are going to use a DHT22 type temperature and humidity
sensor in this project.This temperature sensor gives the output in terms of voltage and
this is given as the input to the arduino which converts the voltage into celsius scale
and which is used to decide whether the exhaust fan is to be switched ON or OFF and
with which speed the fan has to rotate to keep the room at normal temperature.
The temperature controlled exhaust fan can be used in kitchens,electronic
devices and components,in many industries to keep the work place at normal
temperature.As fan is automatically turned ON or OFF, huge amount of energy can be
saved.
