PHILLY CHEESE SANDWICHES

Hot SandwichesAmerican cheese is traditional on Philly-style sandwiches, but we won't

tell if you top yours with pepper jack and pickled jalapenos.

Toast the split hoagie buns under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, but don't turn your back—
they go from perfect to burnt in a hurry.

BISTRO TURKEY SANDWICH

It takes a little extra effort to saute the apples, but the extra flavor is worth it.

Arugula has a peppery flavor that goes well with apples and cranberries, but milder
spinach or Boston lettuce works well, too.

BARBECUE CHICKEN SLIDERS

Don’t turn your back while broiling the buns or melting the cheese. They go from perfect
to well-done in a blink.

You can also use leftover shredded chicken. We like the added flavor and convenience of
starting with rotisserie-cooked.

Smoked cheddar adds another layer of flavor, but regular cheddar, provolone or
mozzarella would taste great, too.

Sun-Dried Tomato Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Make these sandwiches on the grill for a hint of smoky flavor.

If you don't love the mild tang of sourdough, use a loaf of Italian bread instead.

Ginger Beer Pulled Pork

Pair this recipe with a crunchy cabbage slaw.

Serve on slider buns, pretzel or sweet Hawaiian rolls.
