Dear all Jamesians,

I am feeling overwhelmed to share my journey of Saint James. I would say that if life is a book, then school is its
most amazing chapter. I have done all my schooling right from nursery to class 12 from Saint James (1991-2005).
‘Time flies’ like an arrow, the days I spent at Saint James School were exactly like this proverb. My journey in
this prestigious institute has been incredibly great. The school have given me several unforgettable memories to
cherish forever. The friends I made, the days we spend together, and the moments shared here are priceless. I
strongly believe that what I am today and whatever small or big I have achieved till now is made possible because
of the teachers and environment of Saint James which shaped and moulded me into what I have become.

As a child, you enter into school in kindergarten, and it is your teacher who teaches you from the scratch.
Year after year, as you grow up you keep on learning, assimilating knowledge, and developing a well-rounded
personality. The shaping process is hard and long but the selfless patience, hard work, and efforts that our teachers
put in this process is incomparable. Myself being a teacher now I can realize all the hardships of being other side
of the table where our teachers are. I strongly feel that every time when I am successfully able to tackle a hardship
of professional life the knowledge and skill was developed in Saint James.

Today I take this opportunity to applaud and humbly thank our school as a whole for all the hard work it
has put for so many years to shape the careers of thousands of students like me. It goes beyond saying that schooling
in this environment will provide an enormous benefit to you all expanding and strengthening your capabilities and
equipping you with the skills to take the next steps in your careers. I am confident that after passing out from this
school you will be capable and equipped to do your duties and responsibilities as a good citizen and a strong human
being to face the real world.

It’s a suggestion from my side that enjoy your school life to the fullest as these are the best days in a
person’s life and these days are never going to come back again. But also always remember that merely passing
school is not a sign that you are finished products, you should achieve your true potential, reach great heights,
shine for the benefit of society, and make your school and teachers proud.

Lastly I would like to quote that “A good education can change anyone, but a good teacher and a good school can
change everything.”
