DEAR FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS,
We are pleased to present you with a summary of our 2019
fiscal year.
Together, we funded breakthrough research to bring us
another step closer to our Bold Goal of reducing breast cancer
deaths in the U.S. by 50 percent by 2026.
With your help, we invested lifesaving dollars into community
programs and the Komen Wisconsin Breast Cancer Assistance
Fund to ensure our local neighbors received necessary
screenings to detect breast cancer early.
Especially exciting, we hosted major fundraising events across
the state, including the inaugural MORE THAN PINK Walk. At
these events, we came together as a community to take a
united stand against breast cancer.
It brings us much joy to celebrate these successes, but we
must remember that in the coming year 4,700 Wisconsin
neighbors will be diagnosed with breast cancer — that is
simply unacceptable.
Read on to see how crucial your involvement and support is to
saving more lives here in Wisconsin. We have made many
strides in the fight against breast cancer — but we cannot stop
until breast cancer does.
Together we can bring an end to breast cancer forever.
