Reflection Paper on the Old Testament

The history of the Old Testament came to realized me that everything

around the world was created by God. The Old Testament is the bible and it provides a
rich amount of information about what is the beginning of the civilization. I also realized
that God is the author of the bible and He has a secondary author which is the chosen
people of the Israelite. Also, I realized how the scriptures written and how could it be
done into writing. Being a chosen people we need to put the God’s message into writing
and preaching.
I had been learned something about the story of The Fall from the Genesis
that why God putting the knowledge of tree between Adam and Eve. God was putting
the knowledge of tree because He wants LOVE, so there is freedom and because of
freedom we had a choice either good or bad. When I reflect the story of The Fall, as a
seminarian I know that temptation is always everyday and because I have a freedom, it is
my choice to choose, especially the rules and regulations here in the seminary. I believed
that what had been happening to the past it is also happened to the present.
I also had been learned from the Pentateuch (the five books) which are
Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The book of Genesis is the
creation of the universe, the Earth, the animals, the plants and the humanity. GOD gives
the law to Moses to teach from his people Israel. Also, from the book of Wisdom and
Prophets following the Gods command to speak and deliver the message to the people.
In my life as a seminarian and as part of baptism I also need to speak and proclaim like
the prophets so that it will help me to strengthen my vocations as holiness.
