Imogene Carson worked as an intern at United Indian Health Services in the

Community Health and Wellness department on the Diabetes Management team during
the spring semester, 2017. With her interest in nutrition, Imogene shadowed and assisted
me with my duties as a nutritionist.

During that time, Imogene proved to be a tremendous help to the diabetes team
in a very busy time of the year. Imogene was adept at completing assigned tasks,
inquisitive and open minded to understand new ideas and perspectives, and
demonstrated a respectable work ethic and commitment to the team.

Imogene quickly gained respect and acceptance within the UIHS community, and
will be an asset to any team or organization. Her ambitious scholastic nature is a
motivating influence to those she works with and will undoubtedly provide her with a
diverse knowledge base relevant to the plethora of modalities that arise in public health
care.

I am quite impressed with this outstanding young woman and give her my
strongest recommendation for roles which require intelligence, organization, multi-
tasking, service, and a positive attitude.
