LEVEL PERFORMANCE OR PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

A barangay wide campaign for the conservation of our ecosystem through waste segregation through a symposium about
harmful effects of waste mismanagement. Segregate and sell recyclable materials to generate an income to buy trash bin to be
donated to the barangay.

RATIONALE:

To lead, demonstrate, and influence the community to start the proper waste segregation as well as to inculcate the value of
conservation of the environment.

COMMON GRASPS

The barangay officials have task the Grade 6 student to take the lead in promoting environmental awareness through proper
waste management. In order accomplish this, the Grade 6 student will conduct a barangay-wide symposium that will educate
the citizens in the barangay about the 3R’s. The students will create and present varied media presentations like video on the
value of Bayanihan, persuasive speech, and prayer about environment. The presentation will be assessed based on Content,
Organization, and accuracy of information.

GENERAL PROCEDURE:

1. Introduce the objective and discuss the lesson to students.


2. Ask for permission and coordinate with barangay officials for the successful of the project.
3. Make them aware of the proposed project and the subject areas concerned.
4. Give the students time to discuss the plan for the symposium and later on present it for the approval of the teacher.
5. Start collecting recyclable materials.
6. Compose a prayer that will focus on the protection of our environment and encourage the Filipino people to be united in
protecting our environment that God created.
7. Compose a persuasive speech about the proper waste management to be delivered during the campaign.
8. Create a media presentation for the campaign of I – cash ang Trash.
9. Conduct the symposium in the community and donate the trash bins.
10. Post the video in social media page for information dissemination.
11. Lastly, reflection from the student of Grade 6.
