ERECTION, SHUTTERING & CASTING OF COLUMN

West Stack Yard (UTILITY AREA)

Scope of Work

 Bar Reinforcement making, Bending & Shifted to Site.

 Reinforcement erection.
 Shuttering of columns & Plinth beam.
 Concreting of Column and Plinth Beam

Equipments

RD Mixer, Tower Crane, Transit Mixer, Mini Batching Plant, Vibrator, Concrete, Hand
tools, Wheel Barrows etc.

Construction Materials

Metal, Crush Sand, Cement, Steel, Tray.

Procedure

 Bar Cutting & Bending at required length using cutting machine thia made in
steel yard.
 Shifting of reinforcement (ready to bind) at work place with the help of tractor or
manually.
 Scaffolding made ready at work place to erect reinforcement.
 Where ever there is scaffolding ground is traced and leveled it will be made using
cup locks, ledger pipes and clamps at required level.
 Proper access given with the ramp or step staging with railing/scaffolding to reach
at the platform.
 Rope will be used to lift shuttering materials of columns.
 At the time lifting performing personal stand on proper platform wearing full
body harness.
 Manually concreting to be done.
 Electrical vibrator will be used for compaction of concrete.
 For putting electrical vibrator proper platform will be used.
 Shuttering materials used are props supports , ledger pipes, clamps, tie rods,
shikanja, ply board, binding wire and nails for fixing the column, beam shuttering.

De-Shuttering

Area is barricaded wherever the de-shuttering is carried out at certain limit & heavy
material is taken down using rope.
In addition to all, continuous supervision will be provided.
De-shuttering materials will be stacked properly.
