Scope of General tolerance of canned product is specified in this chapter. Moreover, the general tolerance is the
application permissible dimensional difference when dimensional difference is not specified in the drawing.

Note (1) This tolerance is considered as the tolerance in variation of tolerance.

Remarks: 1. It is applicable to a straight line cutting of the metallic plate.


2. At the time of specifying the variation of tolerance of precision limit, make the arrangements
with the production division. The numerical value in ( ) is applied from the 2000mm in the
cutting length.
3. Shear cutting of the high-strength steel is prohibited as a rule. However, when the board
thickness is 3.2mm or less and when the cutting line is welded, shear cutting can be performed.
