INVITE FROM THE SECRETARY GENERAL:

I am Privileged and Honoured to invite to the Maiden Chapter

of Vadodara Youth Model United Nations. Come April, more
than 350 delegates and their faculty advisors will gather to
address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
Delegates will experience the challenges and thrills of
international diplomacy by assuming the roles of UN
representatives and other international decision-makers.
At our Maiden Chapter, delegations in attendance will hail
from across the lengths and breadths of our country. From the
high-level policy discussions in the Security Council to the
Discussions on the National Issues, delegates at this MUN
will spend 2 exciting days immersed in hard-core debating,
lobbying and trying to change the world to suit their needs.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact us with any

create a dynamic and educational opportunity for all students.

WHAT IS MODEL UNITED NATIONS?

An MUN is an educational simulation of UN in

which students can learn about diplomacy,
international relations, and the United Nations.
MUN involves and teaches participants
researching, public speaking, debating, and writing
skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork,
and leadership abilities, it is meant to engage
students and allow them to develop deeper
understanding into current world issues. It
provides students with a platform to form and raise
their opinions and express their ideas, thus
improving their debating and
speaking skills.

The Lukshmi Villas Palace Banquets and Conventions is
Baroda’s most exquisite address for all occasions where
people come together to create memories. It embodies the
highest service values, whilst its design and character
exudes 18th century glamour with a contemporary edge.
We are proud to declare that the venue for the
Conference as well as the Socials Night for VYMUN’s
maiden chapter will be the Lukshmi Villas Palace itself.
Being the most premium location in the city for an event
of this magnitude, the hospitality of LVP will ensure that
the delegates get the opportunity to enjoy the night and
interact with fellow delegates in a more relaxed setting.
