c.It is informed that more number of candidates than the actual number of seats available has been called for
counselling. Hence, some of the candidates may not get a seat allotment.
d.The candidate should bring the following ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS for the counselling.
1. Printout copy of Call letter for Counselling.
2. SSLC or its equivalent certificate.
3. Grade cards/mark list of all the semesters/years of the diploma.
4. Diploma Certificate.
5. Transfer Certificate from the institution last studied.
6. Permanent Community certificate with Gopuram Seal issued by the competent authority (if
applicable).
7. Experience Certificate(s) with TNGST/CST/TIN/RC/License Number. Separate photo copy of
TNGST/CST/TIN/RC/License Number Certificate required.
8. In case of foreign experience, proof in the form of visa stamping, along with the experience
certificate.
9. For current employment:
9.1. Employment certificate in the present employer's letter head along with
TNGST/CST/TIN/RC/License Number.
9.2. The salary certificate for the month of March/April/May 2018.
9.3. Recent sales tax payment receipt from the present employer.
9.4. The No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer.
10.The candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from boards other than TamilNadu
state board of technical education have to obtain the eligibility certificate from the Directorate of
Technical Education, and produce the same at the time of admission without fail.
e.The reservation of BC(Muslim)/BC/MBC/DNC/SC/SCA/ST are applicable only to candidates from
TamilNadu.
f.Candidates who do not have proof of Community will be treated as Open Competition Candidates.
g.The candidates are advised to keep sufficient numbers of attested copies of the above certificates as the
original certificates will be retained in the college for certain period of time after the admission.
h.The admission dates in the respective colleges will be informed at the time of counselling.
Counselling for admission to Part Time B.E./B.Tech. degree courses in Government and Government Aided Engineering
Colleges for the academic year 2018-2019, will be conducted based on the rank secured by the candidate following
reservation rules as per the Government of TamilNadu.
The following candidate is required to attend the counselling at COIMBATORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (CIT),
Coimbatore-14, as per the details given below :

The candidates are informed to be present at least one hour before the above mentioned scheduled time. Candidates
who arrive late for the counselling session cannot claim his/her rights based on the eligibility of their rank and miss the
opportunity to attend the counselling. However, The Secretary's decision is final.
The candidates called for counselling should pay a sum of Rs.5,300/- (Rs.1,100/- in case of SC/SCA/ST), either by cash
or Demand Draft drawn in favour of "The Secretary, Part Time BE/B.Tech Admissions, Coimbatore-641014." payable
at Coimbatore. The amount includes a non refundable counselling fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- in case of SC/SCA/ST) and
an initial payment of Rs.5,000/- (Rs.1,000/ in case of SC/SCA/ST), which will be adjusted towards the college fee at the
time of admissions. The initial payment of Rs.5,000/- (Rs.1,000/- in case of SC/SCA/ST) will be refunded only if the
candidate is not allotted with a seat during the counselling process.If the candidate fails to join the college allotted during
the counselling on the stipulated date, the initial payment of Rs.5,000/- (Rs.1,000/- in case of SC/SCA/ST), paid during
the counselling will not be refunded.
It is informed that this is only a call letter for counselling and not an offer for admissions.
