Associated Learning Standard(s): The resource may be generally applicable, if so, simply state that. List any ISTE-S standards that
seem to naturally align with the selected resource.

Generally applicable

1c - Students use technology to seek feedback that informs and improves their practice and to demonstrate their learning in a
variety of ways.
2a - Students cultivate and manage their digital identity and reputation and are aware of the permanence of their actions in the
digital world.

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

In the event that your school doesn’t have a parent portal, this website/app can be used as a great supplement. I can be used to
take attendance, monitor student behavior (positive and negative), provide an overall graph showing the students behavior,
provide a viewing portal for both students and parents, having a customized variety of good and bad behaviors and keeps track of
how many you awarded a student, as well as be used to randomly call on students during class.

It can also be used to contact parents using the apps own email system.

INTEGRATION IDEA - COLLABORATION

How might you integrate this resource in a lesson plan to promote collaboration among students in your classroom, or among
students and others outside of the classroom?

This tool, if used and shown to the students, can help improve engagement and behavior (students get a +1 for good behavior
and a -1 for bad behavior) and because of the scoring (you can choose to hide negatives scores) the students will try to get more
points and behave in a more appropriate manner. You can even customize what positive behavior you award (such as give a +1
for teamwork or a +1 for helping others).

If you don’t want to use if for behavior tracking, you can use it as team or class points. And if nothing else, it is a good randomizer
to call on students during class.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
 Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?
I would rate this as a 2 or a 1.5.

 Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

The reason it is so low is, although it can improve student engagement and can be used by the students, it is ultimately
something more useful for the parents and teacher. It is defiantly something that becomes better the more you use it in
class. If implemented in almost every aspect of the class I can see this being a strong 2 but if only used sparingly, then it
would be a 1.
