Scene 1

Narrator : A long time ago in the Daha Kingdom , there lived a king named Kerta Marta. He
had two beautiful daughters, they were princess Candra Kirana and princess Dewi Galuh.

King : "Come here my daughters!". (Sitting on the Chair)

Sound of
Kirana : ( Come to the king )

Galuh : ( Follow Kirana coming to the king ) "Father, why did you call us?".

King : "My daughters, I want to tell you that tomorrow Prince Inu Kertapati from Khuripan
Kingdom will visit our kingdom".

Galuh : (surprised) "Really ?!".

King : "Yes, really".

Kirana : "Father, what the purpose of he come to our kingdom?". (curious)

King : "Prince Inu and I have made an agreement. Father will choose one of you to get
married with prince Inu Kertapati."

Galuh : ( Very happy ).

Kirana : "Married!!? ( surprised ). Father, who’s the one that will you choose to get married
with prince Inu Kertapati ? Me or Galuh?"( curious ).

King : "I will choose you Kirana to get married with him". (smile).

Kirana : (surprised and smile) Thank you father, I'm really happy because marriage has been
my dream since I was a kid.

King : (looking to Kirana) "Yes, I know it my sweety. I feel happy because I’m confident it
won’t be a wrong choice for you and us. Okay then, let’s prepare everything for the
welcoming party of prince Inu Kertapati". (standing from the chair and holding Kirana going
out of the room)
Scene 2: Payung Teduh – Resah (fade out)

The king and princess Candra kirana have left the room but princess Dewi galuh is still there.

Narrator : Princess Dewi galuh is jealous because her father has chosen Kirana to get married
with prince Inu Kertapati.

Galuh : "I don’t agree with this engagement plan. Why has father choose Kirana to get
married with prince Inu Kertapati? Why is it not me? Actually I am more beautiful than
Kirana. It's not fair. That’s only me who will be prince Inu Kertapati’s wife, not Kirana!
Ummm, now what should I do?". (Thinking hard and walking around ).

Scene 3

Narrator : After thinking hard , finally princess Dewi galuh has found a way to destroy
princess Kirana. Princess Dewi Galuh is going to a witch house.

Open Stage

Galuh : (entered the house) " Excuse me, is anybody here?". (looking around the room)

Witch : (coming to the room) " What is happening beautiful girl? Come here"

Galuh : " Ummmm, I need your help. Please help me!".

Witch : " Okay, What should I do?"

Galuh : " I want you to destroy Prince Inu Kertapati and Princess Kirana’s marriage plan so
that they cannot be together". (angrily)

Witch : (Nod head ) "Okay, I undestand. What kind of magic do you want from me?"

Galuh : " I want Candra Kirana to suffer. Change her into a snail!!"

Witch : " Okay then, I will use my magic spell to change her into a snail so she cannot marry
Prince Inu"

Galuh : ( Laugh ) " Thank you for your help. Let me give you a golden coin for the reward".
(gave the coin to the witch)

Witch : (Receive the golden coin).

Galuh : " I’m waiting for good news from you". (Leave the witch and go to the kingdom)

Scene 4

Narrator : The next day in the morning, princess Candra Kirana going to the market for buy
some goods to prepare the welcoming party of prince Inu. Suddenly, she meets an ugly man.
This man is a witch.

Open Stage

Witch : (walking closely to Kirana) "Hwahahahhahahhaha... Candra Kirana! How are you?
You look very happy this morning. Hwahahahhahaha..."

Kirana : (Surprised) "Who are you? Why are you very ugly?" (scared)

Witch : (Pointing his finger to Kirana) "Shut up! I'm in here to bewitch you to be a snail".

Kirana : " Why do you want to bewitch me to be a snail? What is my fault?" (Curious, scared)

Witch : " Your sister has ordered me to bewitch you". Hahahahaha (happily)

Kirana : (surprised) " Galuh?? She is my sister. That’s Impossible. We are family. You are
lying!" (pointing her finger to the witch)

Witch : " Why should I lie? That’s the reality".

Kirana : " But why does she want to do that? I love her and she loves me!” (curious)

Witch : " Shut up! Now I’m going to change you into a snail ! hwahahahahhaha...
Abrakadabra Be a snail!

Kirana : "Aaaaaaaaaaa". (Changed into a snail)

Open stage
Sound on: Termite - Sad Part (fade out)

Witch : "Hwahahahhahahha....you will change into human in the afternoon but when it is in
the evening, you will be changed into a snail again. This curse will disappear if you meet
prince Inu Ketapati hwahahahhahahhahaha". (Happily)

Scene 5
Narrator : The witch threw up the golden snail to the river, and the snail is on the ground of
Dadapan Village. One day, old woman is fishing in the river and then the old woman found
the golden snail. This old woman is Mbok Rondo.

Sound on: River sound effect

Mbok Rondo : (Looking to the snail) " Oohh Snail, you are very beautiful!! I will take you".
(put the snail into the bucket)

Narrator : After fishing in the river, she went home and put the golden snail into a bucket.
Then, she taking a rest on the chair. She looks so sad because today she did not get any fish in
the river.

Open stage

Mbok Rondo : (grabbing her stomach) "I was so hungry but I don’t have any food to eat. I
didn’t get any fish in the river. I must go to the river to go fishing again" (Leave the house
and go to the river)

Close stage

When Mbok Rondo is going to the river, the golden snail is changing to be a princess Kirana.

Open stage

Kirana : (Thinking) " Why am I here? Oh yes, I remember that an old woman has taken and
put me in a bucket. Hmmmm, the old woman is pity. She is hungry but she doesn’t have any
food. Before she gets back home, I have to prepare her some food to eat" (preparing food on
the table)

Close stage

Narrator : In the evening, Mbok Rondo is going back to the house but she still didn’t get any
fish. She looks so tired and sad. When Mbok Rondo has arrived at home, princess Kirana has
been changed into a snail again. Mbok rondo is surprised when she sees some food on the
table. She is so confused.
 Open stage

Mbok Rondo : (Surrprised, holding one of the food) " Who’s sent me this food? It looks
delicious. Ooohh thanks God for this food. Finally I have some food to eat!" (Eat the food)

Scene 6

Narrator : Meanwhile in Khuripan Kingdom when prince Inu kertapati has known about the
disappearance of princess Kirana, he is worried about Kirana. Every day he tries to find the
princess but he gets nothing.

Open stage
Sound on: Queen - Love of My Life (fade out)

Prince Inu Kertapati : (worried face, walking around the castle) " Every day I always search
for you my princess, but I never find you. Where are you my princess? When will I meet
you?" (sad)

Sound Off

King (Inu Kertapati’s father) : (come close to Inu) What’s wrong my son? Have you found
your Princess?

Prince Inu Kertapati : “Not yet. (take a deep breath) It seems like I will never find her. (sad
face)

King : (holding Inu’s shoulder) Don’t worry my son, you will find her and marry her. I
promise you. Just follow your heart my son.

Prince Inu Kertapati : (sad smile)

Scene 7

Narrator : Every day after going back from the river, Mbok Rondo always finds delicious
food on the table. One day, Mbok rondo is curious about the food. In the afternoon, she
pretends to go to the river but actually she’s hiding herself behind the house for peeping.
Suddenly Mbok rondo is shocked when looking at the golden snail in the bucket that is
changed into a beautiful girl. The beautiful girl is cooking food and serving it on the table.
Then Mbok Rondo braves herself to ask that beautiful girl.

Mbok Rondo : (come into the house) " Who are you beautiful girl? And where do you come
from?"

Kirana : (looking back with a surprise). "I'm...I'm...I'm Candra Kirana. I'm a princess from
Daha Kingdom. My sister has ordered a witch to bewitch me. The witch has given me a
magic spell and then I was changed into a snail and thrown to the river. Eventually, you found
me and took me here.

Mbok Rondo : (Coming close to Kirana) "Your sister is very evil to you. I feel sad after
hearing your story . Princess, my name is Mbok Rondo. If you want to, you can stay in my
house" (smile)

Kirana : (holding Mbok Rondo’s hands) "Thank you very much Mbok Rondo" (Happy face)

Scene 8

Narrator : Next day in the morning, prince Inu continues searching for princess Kirana. The
witch knows about this matter and worries if prince Inu can find princess Candra Kirana.
Therefore, he is trying to look for prince Inu Kertapati.

Open Stage - Monolog

Finally, he has found Prince Inu in the forest. Then, he is changing himself into a young man
and coming closer to prince Inu.

Witch : (come closer to Prince Inu) Good morning My Lord. (smirk)

Prince Inu kertapati : ( surprised ). "Who are you?"

Witch : "Are you prince Inu?" (asking gently)

Prince Inu kertapati : "Yes, I'm prince Inu Kertapati. Why do you know me?" (Curious,
looking up and down at the witch)

Witch : (smirk) " Are you seeking you're princess?"

Prince Inu kertapati : "Yes, you’re right. Do you know where my princess is?" (getting closer
to the witch)

Witch : (grab his own hand and smile) "Yes, I know. If you want to meet your princess, you
must go to Dadapan Village because she is staying princess there. For the direction, you must
go straight ahead until you find the river and then you turn left” (showing the direction with
his hands)

Prince Inu kertapati : "Thank you for your help young man". (leaving the witch hurriedly)

Witch : " Okay, prince Inu" (Smile )

Scene 9

Narrator : After that, prince Inu is going far away following the direction that was given by a
young man in the forest. Suddenly Prince has found a river. When prince Inu wants to turn
left, he meets an old man. Actually the old man is a good paranormal.

Open stage

Old man : (trembling) "Sir, please help me. I have not eaten for many days. I am hungry.”

Prince Inu kertapati : (find something on his bag) "I have some food. I will give it to you. I
hope you will not be hungry again if you eat this food". (Give the food ).

Old man : (Receive the food ). "Thank you young man. By the way, don’t follow the direction
that was given by that young man in the forest because he is actually a witch. He lied about
the direction"

Prince Inu : (surprised) "Really? What should I do?" (panic)

Old man : (pointing the direction) "You walk following this river flow and then you will find
the Dadapan Village" (smile)

Prince Inu kertapati : "Thank you very much". (happy)

Old man : "Yeah, be careful" (get down his head)

Prince Inu Kertapati : "Okay then, bye" (walking and leaving the old man hurriedly ).

Scene 10

Narrator : After walking so far, prince Inu kertapati has arrived at the Dadapan Village. Then,
he sees a cottage.

Prince Inu kertapati : (looking around the place) " hmmmmm, maybe I can take a rest for a
while in that cottage (Walking and approch that cottage) "Excuse me?".

Sound off

Kirana : "Yes, please wait for a while". (Open the door ).

Prince Inu Krtapati : (Surprised) "Kirana!" (holding Kirana’s hand)

Sound on: Christian Bautista - Beautiful Girl (low sound)

Kirana : ( Surprised ) "Prince Inu??". (feel weird and pull out her hands off prince Inu)
“wait!” (thinking) “Are you sure he is prince inu?” ,asked Mbok Rondo. A prince must be
tall, handsome and athletic. At least he has a horse.” (thinking hardly, looking back to Inu)
“But he…”

Prince Inu kertapati : (getting bored of the princess) “Well..?”

Kirana : (look back to Prince Inu and smile) “But I love you anyway.” (hugging The Prince)

Narrator : Finally prince Inu Kertapati takes princess Kirana and Mbok Rondo to the Daha
Kingdom. Princess Candra kirana tells about the misconduct of Dewi Galuh to the king
Kertamata. The king apologizes to princess Kirana and princess Dewi Galuh gets punishment
but princess Galuh feels afraid so escapes to the forest. Finally Prince Inu Kertapati and
Princess Candra Kirana get married and they live happily ever after.
