Why is it important to use a calibrated tool?

The performance of tools and instruments tends to deviate over time and each tool loses accuracy
to some extent. The calibration and adjustment of the tools guarantee that their accuracy remains
at the required level. The required accuracy of any equipment must be sufficient to meet the
acceptance standards of the project specifications or industry standards.
